Fox Sports Simon Hill details his 2017 football wish list. Reflecting on the article he penned earlier this week for Fox Sports he says, “The first one – was for the A-league to get tough on transfers… that’s basically the size of it. I think too many of our clubs allow some of our brightest young talent to move overseas for very little financial reward. Now I know that Deano is with you in the studio and he’ll be aware that a lot of NPL clubs develop that talent and they are absolutely right. This is why we need to become more like the rest of the world in adopting a proper approach to the transfer market.
