Sydney FC midfielder Brandon O’Neill discusses the club’s ongoing unbeaten run, it’s off-field secret weapon and a potential choice between a Socceroos or Ireland call up. Reflecting on their huge win over Adelaide though, O’Neill said “We had a plan going down there and it was in our best interests travelling on Christmas day knowing that Adelaide were able to spend time with family and friends and maybe indulge and have a drink so Arnie thought it was good idea to travel then – to make sure we were all together, eating the right food and getting proper rest and it showed. I thought for the first half and hour Adelaide were quite good but, after we got the first goal, you could just tell that our confidence grew.
